Information on Compass Writing Test Format and Question Types
If you perform poorly on your writing skills test, you may have to take a developmental writing course during your freshman year in order to improve the level of your writing.
This generally means that you need to improve your English grammar skills, as well as your sentence construction skills.
In order to test your writing skills level, we recommend that your try the exercise provided below.

Each of the sentences below has problems with grammar and punctuation.
Find the errors in each sentence and correct them.
The answers are provided after the exercises.
